How server rating works

The rating reflects how many players we see over time: we sum human player counts from each stored scan snapshot, then combine recent windows in the formula below.

Final formula

The displayed rating is computed as:

currentRating = round( 0.5 · sum1h + 0.3 · sum24h24 + 0.2 · sum30d30 · 24 )

Weights 0.5 / 0.3 / 0.2 on the three terms: recent hour counts most, then 24h and 30d (each normalized per clock hour via ÷24 and ÷(30·24)). Each sum is the total of human player counts from scans in that window—not a separate “points per scan” score. Rounded to an integer.

How the formula is built

Each successful scan writes one row to server history with the player count at that time. We sum those values over three windows (1h, 24h, 30d) and combine them as in the formula above.

  1. 1

    players_count

    Human players on the server at scan time (excluding bots). We use the game's reported human/bot split when available; otherwise we count non-bot players from the player list. This number is stored per scan and summed inside each window.

  2. 2

    sum₁h, sum₂₄h, sum₃₀d

    Each sum is the total of stored player counts from all scans in that window: last 1 hour, last 24 hours, and last 30 days. There is no separate per-scan score in the formula—only these summed snapshots.
